The Smartdiary Editor screen is thoughtfully designed to provide a focused space for your daily journaling. Accessible exclusively to registered and logged-in users, it's the heart of your diary experience. If you haven’t joined us yet, we invite you to sign up and start your diary journey. For existing users, the Editor can be reached through your diary link, where you can freely pen your thoughts.

At the top of the Editor screen, you'll notice the 'Today' button, which serves as a gateway to your past entries. By clicking it, you can read through your diary history—reflecting on your growth, recalling memorable moments, and revisiting past insights. It’s important to note that while you can read past entries, editing is reserved for today's entry to keep your reflections authentic and in-the-moment.

As you write, the Editor dynamically displays a word count, empowering you to track your writing goals. Each new day presents a clean slate, a new diary window that encourages you to meet or exceed your word count target, whether it's a concise reflection or a detailed narrative of your day.

For mobile users, Smartdiary takes advantage of your device's capabilities, integrating seamlessly with built-in autocomplete and voice input features. To activate voice input, tap the microphone icon on your device’s keyboard. This functionality allows you to dictate your entries, ideal for capturing thoughts when typing isn’t convenient—like during your commute, in-between errands, or while you're winding down before sleep.

We ensure that your entries are automatically saved, denoted by the 'saved' indicator next to the word count. This auto-save feature means you can write with peace of mind, knowing your words are securely recorded as you go.
